Adam V. Sussman

Adam V. Sussman is a corporate associate in the Private Funds Group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He focuses his practice on the formation, marketing, management and regulatory compliance of private equity funds, hedge funds, funds-of-funds and other investment vehicles, as well as the operational, legal and regulatory issues faced by their sponsors.

Prior to joining Kirkland & Ellis LLP, Adam worked as an analyst at an early-stage investment fund and business incubator based in New York's Silicon Alley where he evaluated new ventures, conducted due diligence, and coordinated funding with entrepreneurs and investors, and served in the War Room of Sen. John McCain's 2008 Presidential campaign as part of the Media and Rapid Response team.

Adam earned his BA, with Distinction, from Yale University and his JD from Northwestern University School of Law. Adam also holds an MA concentrating in Political Economy and Graduate Certificates in Emerging Markets & Country Risk Analysis and Health Care Ethics. 

Adam maintains an interest in Judaism and Jewish philosophy and learns weekly with a study partner through Partners in Torah.
